Collaborating

I have co-written and worked with lots of great, talented people including many at the songwriting forum, on Boo and Darden's songwriting retreats and for the last 3 years with inderviduals from the fabulous Midnight Song Collective.

Working with others bring out the best and you produce tunes you'd never do on your own. It's also great fun and you make life long friends too. Here's a few examples:

Pebble Wreck - the man with a golden voice. We wrote and released two songs, the bubblegum pop of Neon Socks and widescreen AOR of Eye of the Storm

Tim Cody - we go back a long, long way to the 80's and reconnected duing lockdown and weekly favourite albums challenge. With a joint love of Neil Young, I'd did a backing track and Tim played live and streamed Cinnamon Girl from his bedroom.

Since then we have worked on recording and producing Tim's latest release, the rather fabulous Songs from the Sixties which was released in 2024. Do check it out.

Alan Walker - Alan has a rich baritone and a faboulous way with words. We've worked together on Cornflower Blue and the provided the giutar solo on Grey into White

John Bradley - written and recorded a number of songs with the talented Southport based musician aka Pompeyjazz  including the rocking Eastern Eyes, and the everday story of a superhero mollusc Barnacle Bill, all encosed in a heady sea of Beatleesquness.

And i regularly get together and write with Nigel Lowdnes, Simon Wells and Andy Williams, and the very talented Tom Boswell.

Thanks everyone.
